News of Firefox 3.6 being released today were announced on Sumo Blog. it’s just available for download on mozilla.com or if you explicitly click Help > Check for updates. You won’t get a pop-up offering it. The exact time for the Firefox 3.6 release will be on Thursday, Jan. 21, at 9:30 AM Pacific time, according to a note on the Firefox 3.6 “coming soon” page.
